Very comfortable, quiet, clean. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Public footpath close to the hotel - really nice walk. Our dog was very welcome. Very kindly the bar staff offered to make us cheese and biscuits. This was a real home from home. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. After a 3.5 day drive from Corfu to walk through the doors of a friendly Great British hostelry was simply the best experience. Spacious accommodation in the Flat, plenty of room to unwind with my two dogs who were a little wound up after the long drive. A good nights sleep and the ability to run off steam in the field opposite, we all left relaxed and chilled. Pub grub was fabulous too! As I couldn’t stay for breakfast , they even went to the trouble of sending me off with a packed lunch! 😋 ![Sorry but Midas made himself at home!
