Jersey is one of Europe's most exclusive holiday destinations. Located in the Channel, between England and France, this idyllic island enjoys a favourable climate and some breath-taking scenery. The prosperous holiday destination also boasts a number of pristine towns, packed with excellent places to eat and drink. Even visitors with the highest of standards won't be disappointed by the island's impressive selection of luxury hotels.
A long list of facilities might be enough to woo holidaymakers jetting off on their first luxury break, but more discerning travellers know that the best luxury hotels go one step further. Ambience is an important feature of any hotel, and there are few better ways of creating a luxurious environment than by choosing a unique period property in which to house your hotel.
Longueville Manor is one of the finest hotels in Jersey, and stands as a prime example of the impact on guests' experiences that a spectacular property can have. The accommodation is based within a restored manor house, set in some 18 acres of meticulously cared-for woodland and gardens. With so much beauty to explore on the sight, guests would be forgiven for failing to leave the premises during their entire stay!
For many holidaymakers, relaxation is high up on the list of priorities. While the island of Jersey exudes a laid-back atmosphere from top to toe, there are some stresses that can only be eluded by professional massages and beauty therapies.
The Club Hotel and Spa is located in the island's main town of St. Helier. The four-star luxury hotel features a spa tub, sauna and steam room, all of which sit beside a magnificent swimming pool.
Whether you're on a romantic break for two or are travelling with the kids, no visit to Jersey would be complete without stepping foot on to one of its many idyllic beaches. Fortunately, there are a number of luxury hotels that have that all-important convenient beachfront location. Many of the finest beach hotels in Jersey are located in the west, near St. Brelade. There are also a handful of exquisite beaches in the north of the island.
