Checked in late evening with my partner to a very warm room.My partner found rubbish in the bin,a window that was left a jar as you couldn’t properly open it due to poor gardening maintenance with bushes over growing past the window ledge.The room had a feel of it not being very clean due to this and the several insects/bugs we found in the room.Was dissapointed to find both pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable,but was to tired to make staff aware.

Average at best.
Good location but was spoilt by: staff smoking outside my bedroom window. Noise from workmen from the building site not far from hotel. Room was disappointing; booked an Executive Room, but despite staff reassuring me this was the case, I suspect it was not. Exec Rooms were signed as such on the room door, mine was not. Bedroom was small and basic and bathroom was cramped and poorly put together. Shower was clean and hot. Bed was OK. I always travel with my own pillow. TV has limited channels. No lifts to upper floors. Breakfast was bang-average for the money. Full English was 3/10 - bacon was under cooked, sausage bland, beans runny, scrabbled eggs overcooked, toast dry - no butter provided when asked for. Muffin, cereal, fruit and tea were 7/10. Staff (other than when questioned about the room) were great - polite, welcoming and accommodating.
