We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. The staff were so helpful and very welcoming. You helped make my husbands birthday treat a very special memory. Thank you !

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

We had a great stay. The staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, the food was good, and it was very peaceful. It's a £10 cab ride to get anywhere though, so keep that in mind if that kind of thing bothers you and you're not driving (they always came quickly though).

I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price. Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?) If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St. We'll stay here again. Loved it.

Excellent staff and hotel . Food not good yet quite expensive

From the moment we arrived to the moment we vacated the service was exceptional. Staff so friendly and attentive. The rooms are luxurious and extremely clean. I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to stay again x

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

Loved this hotel, decor lovely, bed so comfy. Food really good.

Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

If you are looking for a hotel away from the noise and bustle of the centre this is an excellent choice. The condition and decoration in the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is split into two buildings, so did require going outside to get from one to the other for the dining area. There are a lot of steps and no lift, so bear that in mind if you are on the top floor, although the staff do offer to take your cases up. The top floor room I was in had a good and...

Modern stylish and great location

Stayed here as my daughter was catching an early morning flight the following day. Good value and very comfortable accommodation. Very clean throughout. £12 for parking but that's airports for you.
