"The bed furniture can be quite creaky and very easy to hear upstairs neighbors but the location, decor, staff friendliness, and comfort were wonderful! Our room wasn’t ready until an hour after check in when they offered to switch us to a room that was ready and although they gave us the directions to our room they forgot to write down the new room number so it was a bit crazy at first but it happens! Bar was lovely and photobooth is super cute."

"So paid for breakfast both nights but my flight was changed for the second morning so could not get breakfast as too early to check out? The guy behind the desk said no problem and we can’t give you your money back but I will have a packed breakfast made for you both and leave outside your door so you can take with you! Well no breakfast and the guy on the check out desk did not have a clue about it! So 50 pounds for two breakfasts was well worth it NOT Hotel was very nice though"

"Everything from the beginning of our stay was amazing. Archie at the front desk is an asset to your company and deserves a large raise. We are from the United States and never felt more welcome from the minute we stepped in this hotel. I'm pretty sure It had to do with Archie at the front desk his personality and love for his job made our stay one of the best. As for a woman at the front desk was not nice to my husband one of the days we were there. We are here in Scotland for another 4 weeks and hope to meet more people like Archie. His knowledge of where to go what to do and what to see was perfect. I must add the room was clean , big & the view was absolutely amazing as we had a room with a balcony. We would like to Thank Archie for an amazing reception. Claudette & John"
