Very posh and nice. Rooms a little old.

Booked with Tesco vouchers. First time in Henley on Thames and so very pleased we chose the Hotel du Vin. Everything first class. Couldn’t fault it.

We had a friendly welcome from Jane and her staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The pub closed early on Sunday night, so we had to go elsewhere for food, but it meant a very peaceful night. Strongly recommended!

Stayed in the junior suite, very clean, extremely spacious. Very large and comfortable king size bed. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff all did a good job. The aircon in the hotel was very effective which was great when it was so hot outside. Plenty of parking, very convenient for access to attractions in the area, close to the river. Very enjoyable visit.

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. Our one night stay at the Compleat Angler was lovely. While the building and room could do with a bit of an update, the overall experience was lovely. The staff were friendly; the room was spacious with a very comfy bed; and the amenities were excellent.

We went to the mill theatre and decided to stay over at the hotel. It was in an ideal position as only a short walk to the theatre. The room was lovely

We recently returned and stayed in a comfy double room last weekend. Very well maintained hotel, room and facilities. The room was spotless. Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating and restaurant and bar services. We were satisfied with the gym. We didn’t use the sauna and steam rooms this time. Not the quietest of venues during event nights.

This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well.
