"Great property. When we ran into troubles with the hot tub the owner was super responsive. The only downside was that there were only 2 towels so I recommend taking towels for the hot tub if you plan to use it."

The hot tub was excellent and we used it earlier each day. Although we took most things with us there was a general store just a few yards away.
There were two small issues which I brought to the attention of the host and they were dealt with immediately.

Perfect for a stay when you wish to be close to town centre.very clean and tidy. The only down side and it is being picky is that there's no cooked breakfast on offer, but there are plenty of places close by to buy breakfast. All in all excellent!

Staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful. The room was fantastic, large spacious, immaculately presented.
Breakfast was lovely, great selection of dishes to choose from (I can definitely recommend the full English and also the baked egg and chorizo)

We stayed in this glorious hotel overnight as a family of three plus our dog. We had the most wonderfully warm welcome upon our arrival and this was further enhanced by the rustic charm that this lovely hotel exuded by way of its decor. We adore a vintage aesthetic so its appearance resonated with us immediately. Richard and his wife were fabulous hosts and the continental breakfast that they served to us this morning was very impressive .. warm croissants, toast, cereal and an array of fresh...

The room and inside of the hotel were fab. It was very comfortable and clean. Don’t be put off by a dated exterior. The inside is lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was good quality - no complaints. The park and ride is right next door for an easy trip into Chester. We had a happy stay.

Short stay over a weekend. Found hotel to be quiet and offered peaceful nights rest. Chose hotel based on previous dining experience there. Still lived up to expectations both at dinner and for breakfast. Wine list whilst not extensive as a posh London restaurant contained a nice choice of very drinkable wines.
