Very comfortable room everything you need in there including tea & coffee

From a welcoming greeting at reception, a comfortable nights sleep and helpful staff arranging for taxi at departure it was overall a very pleasant experience in a good albeit small city centre hotel.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel on trips to Liverpool and I managed to get a very cheap deal for a two night stay, I was seeing a band at the cavern so the location was perfect.

The owners of this hotel combined old and new in a way that works. We stayed 3 nights here and are so happy we did. It is only a few miles from Albert Dock and is located in a quiet area. Given the opportunity to return to Liverpool, I would choose to stay here again.

Loved the out lay of the hotel staff and guests were so friendly .not noisy. With plenty things to do. Food amazing.

Large room for a City Hotel, right on the waterfron of River Mersey. Shops, bars, restaurants and culture just short walks away.

Easy parking, welcoming despite being very late. Enclosed area with outdoor spaces, friendly bar staff, clean room. Able to feel comfortable although a lone traveler.

The reception is very grand and impressive. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were particularly pleased with the knowledge of the area one reception staff member had which she shared with us ensuring we got the most out of our weekend. We had never been to Chester before so this was much appreciated. The room was a tad smaller than I'd hoped but was only a standard so can't be too disappointed. It was very clean and had everything in it we needed. If staying longer than 3 nights however a bigger room would be better. The restaurant and bar were also very pleasing, with wide selection of meals and nice wines. The gardens were pleasant although there were 3 weddings taking place across the 3 nights we stayed and they take up some of the garden area. They also made breakfast quite busy!! We also used the spa facilities which were very impressive. The sauna was out of use but this didn't bother us. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
