"The hotel was very comfortable, and its location near the city center made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for one reason. Our room was advertised as a nice window room, but the window looked into a dirty structure with barbed wire, inside the building, overlooking the lounge. I kept the curtains closed the whole stay because looking out gave me the major ick. I would suggest covering those windows with an opaque film that still lets light through, so guests don't have to see the garbage right outside."

"Arrived at approximately 10.30pm and we were surprised to find we had been upgraded. The young girl at reception was very helpful as a couple of weeks ago when staying there I left my phone charger there but unfortunately it hadn't been handed in."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. Work in progress on the front of the building so scaffolding up all around which we weren’t warned about. Fortunately it was Saturday night so no workmen outside our window. The lift is mini. Two adults or one with a big suitcase. Room was ok. Some cobwebs hanging from the light fitting and some dust but ok. Big TV. Beds were very comfortable (Family room 2 king beds). Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Parking was good despite the usual precious Range Rover owners straddling the parking lines. Walk to Wimbledon station/town. Decent value. No big issues."

"Good location and nice hotel. Needs some work though, shower didn't work properly and both the bathroom door and main door has no lock. The stay was fine for 8 hours before the flight. Priced pretty well and free parking! Happy with that part. Hotel did a great job of sorting the fire alarm that went off at 7am. Got it sorted within a few minutes. Happy with that too."
