Its great to find a hotel you can stay for just one night over the weekend. I was looking for somewhere close to London (34 miles away), with great reviews, good food and accommodation and places to visit nearby. The Bel and Dragon had all of that. We had a twin room, but it was on the first floor, it would have been nice if there was one on the ground floor, apart from that the staff were just lovely and very helpful.
the dining room was very spacious and food was tasty.
In the breakfast room the staff were again very helpful and chatty, the kitchen was very open to changing the menu for different tastes.
We loved it and will return.

Clean room and good value for money. Slightly under staffed in my opinion but the staff available where great. Very close to Hook Train station which is what I needed as this was a business trip to be close to Basingstoke. Had a great nights sleep.

Nadia and her team made us very welcome . The bedroom and bathroom are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated . There is also shower gel and shampoo with gorgeously soft thick white towels . Good selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate , fruit teas is just what you need after a long journey or day out . If you need anything you just have to ask , you can't ask for more than that .
