Haven’t been to Aviator Hampshire for a number of years, but it was just as lovely as I remembered. Room, Sky Bar, Breakfast, Staff - all exceptional. Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!

Its great to find a hotel you can stay for just one night over the weekend. I was looking for somewhere close to London (34 miles away), with great reviews, good food and accommodation and places to visit nearby. The Bel and Dragon had all of that. The room was tastefully furnished (with free sloe gin - added bonus!) and the hotel was cosy and characterful. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and a great dinner (although I noticed the bar food also looked enticing. There is a snug for hotel guests...

The hotel is easy accessible via the eighth floor of the adjoining car park, which takes you straight into the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean and stylish, however we wasn’t aware that it was very high up. We was on the 16th floor and my son was very scared to look out of the bedroom window or go into the lift. This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We recently returned and stayed in a comfy double room last weekend. Very well maintained hotel, room and facilities. The room was spotless. Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating and restaurant and bar services. We were satisfied with the gym. We didn’t use the sauna and steam rooms this time. Not the quietest of venues during event nights.

A little off the beaten track but this hotel is of exceptional quality and it a bargain for the price we paid. VERY quiet and comfortable. Superb breakfast too. We'll definitely return!

Easy quick check-in. Room average size with good size bed. Bathroom good, tea/coffee facilities excellent. Steak meal was excellent.
