The best time to visit Hepple is typically during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is at its most agreeable for outdoor activities.During these months, you'll experience longer daylight hours and generally milder temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the Northumberland National Park and the surrounding countryside. This period is great for walking, cycling, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Coquet Valley. For those interested in wildlife, particularly birdwatching, late spring and early summer offer excellent opportunities to see various species in their breeding plumage. The local rivers and reservoirs are also popular for fishing during this time. While autumn, particularly October, can also be pleasant with the changing colours of the foliage, the weather becomes more unpredictable, with cooler temperatures and a higher chance of rain.
