They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Nice apt at the back of the pub. Only downside was lots of steps to arrive at it. Nice facilities, but toilet was down a spiral staircase and tile was a bit slippery when wet. Arrived at 20.30 hrs. Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. As food was only served till 9pm we put our bags in the room and came down for some food. The menu looked good and what we ordered didnt dissapoint. I especially loved the chips qhich were treble cooked. Our room was clean and fairly basic, in a nice sort of way. The bed was very comfortable, i slept right through the night, so what more can you say about a bed. The breakfast the next morning didn't disappoint.i had Eggs Benedict which was perfect. The staff made us feel welcome, as they were all friendly and helpful both in the evening andvat breakfast time. Would we stay again? Can’t believe the change. No festive atmosphere at all, no log fire as in previous years. Stayed in one of there apartments, was inadequately heated very cold. No hot water at the sink, only an electric shower which we didn’t use as the bathroom was so cold. Food in the restaurant was adequate. We were asked to check out at 10, so we decided to forgo breakfast as it didn’t start until 8.o'clock. All very disappointing.
