"I had a really positive stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is excellent for the NEC and also close to the High Street, while still being far enough away that the hotel itself felt peaceful. My Grand Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the hotel accommodating my last-minute upgrade and doing its best to honour my room requests. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. A special thank you to Saleem, the Deputy General Manager, and Lucy for their help during my stay. Saleem also very kindly waived my overnight parking charge, which I greatly appreciated. A few things prevented me from giving five stars. Room 351 had a noticeable humming noise from nearby machinery, and the room remained quite cold despite using the heating function. The bathroom also became extremely hot and steamy, and the extraction did not appear to work effectively. A fridge would have been useful, as would slippers for the very cold bathroom floor. There were also a couple of small housekeeping oversights with soap and bin liners. I would also encourage the hotel to consider complimentary parking for resident Blue Badge holders. I didn't have enough time to experience all the hotel's amenities, but overall I felt very well looked after. It was a great place to stay, with genuinely helpful staff, and I would happily return."

"Lovely grounds and easy walk to the Castle . The room was built with bunks for kids, but as a couple we found if quite roomy. The breakfast buffet was good with fresh watermelon and pineapple a nice treat."

"Ibis is a short walk to the terminal, perfect for a night before an early flight. I booked ibis budget getting the room for a very reasonable rate, and was pleasantly surprised by a good sized room. A little quirky with separate cubicles each for the shower and toilet, with the sink in the main room, but that wasn't an issue for me. Room was light and airy, bed was comfy but the pillow was the firmest I've ever come across, and not so comfy. Blind was unfortunately broken and the light switch was a bit temperamental, but for one night it was fine. Surprisingly, despite being so close to the airport, it wasn't that noisy and i slept well. Check in desk could do with being in a quieter location so you can hear the staff. I would come here again before an early flight."
