Motel One Edinburgh-Royal

"Great location, 3 blocks from train and very close to the royal mile. They had a very good breakfast and elevator for luggage. We had our shower chord become detached last morning but they gave us free breakfast due to that. A little loud if you leave the window open as the rooms get hot. There was a homeless couple arguing at 6am in the alley so that was a bit annoying but part of being close."

"Loved this hotel so much!! Everyone was so incredibly kind and the room and bathroom were so nice! Location was absolutely perfect. Very central and you can literally see the castle from out front!"

"Everything about the hotel is excellent. Room, location, cleanliness. We just had a really rough check in. We had asked for an early check in months prior, and were told they would do everything to accommodate us. We arrived at 8:00am and weren’t given our room until 2:30. Checkout isn’t until 11, so expected 12 the latest. We were not given a time window and basically ignored in the beautiful lobby."
