"Quiet and comfortable! Stayed here while hiking the Via Francigena in late October. Property is dated but is also economical. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast."

"We truly enjoyed our stay. We arrived past 1 AM and their front desk staff checked us in very quickly. We were very impressed by the warm welcome. We got the Queen room with Jacuzzi which was one of the most spacious rooms we ever had. The breakfast was also extraordinary. I give a true 5 star to this hotel and its staffs. "

"Everyone was very friendly, specifically the staff at the bar. Breakfast buffet was nice with many options and good coffee. Room was very clean and had a lot of soace. Bathroom was nice with a good shower. Air Conditioner and n the room worked well. Pool could have more sun chairs as it was like all the time crowded during our stay in August. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants in the center (10 minutes) The Funicolare to Montecantini Alto is also only 15 minutes by feet away. "

"A family-friendly place to stay: The "double quadruple" room had 4 twin beds, two of which were licated in a kind of loft; the room was supplied with kids' games and toys. Fabulous breakfast. The receptionist was extremely helpful in finding information and making recommendations for us during a train strike that (pardon the pun) derailed our plans. The location, between the old city walls and the train station, was convenient and surprisingly quiet.
Things were pretty basic in the room. Decor was haphazard and the closet space pretty tight. No iron or ironing board. Teeny shower. But we were not there for the amenities, and the staff was terrific. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa with grand common area spaces, beautiful grounds and a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful breakfast and sat outside in the beautiful garden. There was free parking and it was a short drive to both Pisa and Lucca. The Villa has a long history so some areas show some wear but it gives it character and everything was clean. We loved the quiet location and beautiful surroundings. I would come again! "
