"Our stay at Howl at the Sea was delightful. The place was clean and so attentively decorated. You can tell the hosts put a lot of time and love into the place. Speaking of the hosts, they were wonderful. They made it easy for us to check in and out. They were always kind and responded quickly to all of our questions. Great water pressure in the shower. The outside space was also really great."

"We had a smooth early check-in. Property manager was great about meeting us in the middle of the night to check in. We had a lot of privacy and space in the house. You didn't feel on top of neighbors. The walk to the beach was super short and easy. The extra kitchen space came in handy for cleaning fish and storing them in a separate fridge. There really is only one shower but it worked fine for us. Very layed back vacation and very enjoyable 🌞"

"Most important to me in a rental are comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. My Happy Place provided all three (except for 4th bedroom with child size beds with droopy mattresses which fortunately we didn’t need). Lots of bath towels. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed but could use more kitchen towels (we brought our own after annother reviewer mentioned this). "My friend, her dog and I stayed the week of April 20-27. We had a fabulous time! Pura Vida has a wonderful deck and a gorgeous wall of windows to look out over the beach! Everything you could want is in the house. We even had a bonfire in the fire pit and made some-mores with friends. The owners answered all texts immediately. It was a wonderful vacation and can’t wait to go back!"

"Just as advertised.. clean and directly across road from beach access. The unit had everything that we needed and is ideal for a couple or small family. Located on the West side of the island which we liked as there is less beach traffic. We would stay again."

"Accommodation was a bit tired, probably from use and climate. Appliances: toaster was prehistoric but worked (sort of). Dishwasher wasn’t good at all. A light fixture outside on kitchen level was dangling. A lamp on kitchen level had bulb basically dangling. A/C for lower level worked but was loud. Dangling cupboard to garbage cans. Chipped rocks glasses. Backsplash was worn/stained. Location was great, both w/r/t beach and restaurants and stores Overall quite happy with the week."
