Grand Hyatt Guangzhou

No. 12 Zhujiang West Road, Guangzhou - Map
The hotel is located at Tinhei area which is the commercial centre of Guangzhou. The room is spacious and clean. The design of bathroom is very unique and a bit peculiar, as mentioned by many others before^^. In general, I would recommend this hotel.

"Five stars hotel excellent stay"
Only a few minor comments if really want to improve what a already 5 stars hotel experience. 1) hotel signage is really small at ground level, not easy to spot if driving on Huaxia road. 2) bathroom soap dish is too small and tight to the soap size so it's difficult to pick up soap when it's wet. 3) I was asked by pool attendant to wear one of their head cap when swimming in the pool which is a bit odd and uncomfortable for someone who is not used to them and detracts from the relaxing experience. Guess it's a China cultural hygiene preference. But personally never encounter such request from 5 stars hotels in Europe or the States. Overall a 5 stars hotel with good trained staff in general still

    Pocket Guide: Guangzhou Hyatt Hotels

    Stay at Guangzhou’s Hyatt Hotels

The Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a globally renowned hotel operator based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in LA in 1957 by entrepreneurs Hyatt Robert von Dehn and Jack Dyer Crouch, it soon became the fastest-growing hotel chain in the US. The company now has over 620 hotels worldwide, many under the Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt and Hyatt Regency brands. The company also owns the Hyatt House brand of extended-stay lodgings in the US, and in 2013 entered into the all-inclusive market by launching Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva in the Caribbean.

Hyatt Hotels near Guangzhou’s Central Business District

Adding to Hyatt’s China collection, Guangzhou, a vibrant business and trade hub in southern China, welcomes visitors with its select Hyatt accommodation in Zhujiang New Town district. The full-service hotels have indoor pools, day spas and upscale restaurants, while each of the sleek guest rooms offer WiFi and 24-hour room service as standard.

Business Stay at Guangzhou’s Hyatt Hotels

Business visitors spend most of their time in Tianhe, the city's fast-paced Central Business District with its modern skyscraper skyline. For sweeping views of the city and Guangdong Province, take a ride in one of the fastest lifts in the world to the 95th floor of the CTF Finance Centre.

What to See in Downtown Guangzhou

As China's third largest city, Guangzhou also offers a wide variety of cultural attractions. Formerly known as Canton, Guangzhou was once a major port on the Maritime Silk Route and has a long and fascinating colonial history. Visit Shamian Island, a former European enclave, for a glimpse of trade-merchant life in the city. Shamian Island’s ornate mansions and wide boulevards lined with cafes and art galleries have a distinctly continental appeal.

First-time visitors to the city should see the authentic artefacts from the Qin, Ming and Song dynasties at the state-of-the-art New Guangdong Museum, which also has an extensive collection of Cantonese art, Chinese literature and dinosaur fossils.

Whether you're visiting Guangzhou for business or leisure, search Expedia to find the full-service Hyatt hotel to suit your next trip to China.
