We stayed one night at the Victorian house as we had planned a last minute visit to the lakes due to particularly good weather forecast for this time of year. The staff were very welcoming; the room was as described ‘cosy’ and furnished beautifully. The breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice. We would definitely look to stay again, especially as it was such good value for money and right in the centre of the village.

This was our second stay at the Daffodil Hotel in Grasmere having previously stayed in February. The hotel is very clean and tidy with a very friendly and helpful reception staff. Lovely hotel and a short walk to Grasmere village. We had an executive King room which was very nice. Good size and spotless. Nice bar with reasonable prices (same food menu and prices as the restaurant but less formal and no need to book). We dined in the restaurant in the evening (need to book table in advance) and the service and quality of the food was very good. Portions were quite small but we didn't leave hungry and we didn't bother with starters as we had earlier had a quite big lunch...

Excellent, family-run hotel with personalised touches. Lovely spa and lounge facilities, excellent restaurant (service can be a bit slow at busy times, but great atmosphere and the food is worth the wait), attentive but not intrusive staff. Perfect base for central Grasmere, great public transport and road links - walking on the doorstep.

Home was lovely, the perfect area! Rooms very comfortable and very clean. Could have been more that one roll of loo roll in each toilet as there was 6 of us but other than that it was a perfect stay.

This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents.

I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted.
