"Lodge was very modern, clean and exceptionally well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Communication from the hosts was excellent too. Great view of the sea, i could happily wake up to that every morning! Can't comment on the onsite facilities as we didn't use them, we would walk into town where there are several pubs/restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back. "

"The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. Definitely going back, need to suss the bath as couldn't get hot water but this was an "us" fault not there's as we are rubbish with reading instructions. The only let down to our weekend was...

"A lot of reviews for this house were quite bad. This is the review of the room we had on the ground floor. Massive room & bathroom. Shower for less able people & a lovely big bath. Everywhere was spotless. We had a 6 foot bed that was very comfortable. Yes, the wallpaper was old & stained but this house is very old & must take a great deal of upkeep. The dining room was lovely, as was the breakfast Our friends had the room next door & their opinion was the same as ours. All 4 of us would definitely return"
