"Wasn’t made clear it has no reception or amenities and the building doesn’t lend its self to slow sensor lights. It was an accident waiting to happen. Room was ok, however wasn’t aware it was continental breakfast only. Had to leave early so no time to faff making tea. Curtains are not light proof and room was lit up like Blackpool illuminations. "We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive but not as many amenities. We enjoyed our stay "
