The Home Arms Guesthouse

The Home Arms Guesthouse

10/10 Excellent
"Great location, right opposite the harbour. Massive family room, high ceilings and cornicing, fab view and sounds of sea, and could see car park opposite (which felt safe to leave car parked in). Windows actually opened, how exciting-! Room was immaculate, huge comfy bed and two single beds (proper beds not fold up ones, so the kids found these comfy too). Bathroom had large bath with shower enclosure over. Little bottles of shower gel and shampoo, nicely presented. Welcoming entrance hall, felt secure with key fob entry. No issues with welcome email and access (mobile number is on website if you did need it though). Breakfast was the best we’ve had for a while. Continental was self serve, with cooked breakfast to order. Quickly delivered and beautifully cooked and seasoned. Such friendly people served us too. The kind girl who looked after us heard we were going to Alton towers and gave us a photo pass she no longer needed too. What a great place, we would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area! Don’t miss the seal feeding and gelato on the harbour to the right, yum!"

"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."
