"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was really useful and there is a supermarket a few minutes walk away if you don’t want to go out for a meal. Access via code was really easy and there was plenty of parking close by. My messages were answered quickly and I was provided with all the information I needed in advance of our arrival. We will definitely be back next till we are in the area "

"Such a shame- could have been 5 star!! Internally the room was great, very comfortable and modern BUT from outside looked dreadful- dirty windows, dead window boxes and number missing from the door. Was very inconvenient, having to go out and buy tea & coffee ( I had asked before we travelled and was assured it was provided.) I draw the line at having to buy loo roll !! Attention to detail needed!"

Best Western Kings Manor Hotel

"Pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable cost for a room in Edinburgh mid week so we were't expecting much in terms of facilities. However, from the minute we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. A real asset to this hotel I think. Parking was very reasonable. Didn't have breakfast but ate in the bar in the evening. Again, very reasonably priced and food was good. Really surprised with the bedroom, felt like an upscale hotel in terms of facilities in the room. Are only negative of the hotel was the lack of internet. When we tried to login, all you get is a message saying 'Billing Issue' and would not allow us to connect. A hotel issue I guess. Despite that, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, a big reason for that was the friendliness or the staff, room facilities and cleanliness."

"A lovely stay! Nice modern cottage with added bonus of sauna. The location was good for sightseeing base Took advantage of the spa which was very nice but pricey @£95 per person which was just for the use of the facilities We also enjoyed the tasting menu which was very good! Just would like to suggest that an information manual in the cottage’s to help with heating, cooking etc"

"This is absolutely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had and I have travelled all over the world. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and location is beautiful. The spa downstairs is nothing short of amazing . But absolutely the most amazing thing about this hotel is from the moment you arrive you feel like you’re staying with family. I went downstairs in the evening to ask for some cutlery and the receptionist said hello Nicki how can I help you? I was so surprised that she remembered my name but at the same time I’m not because this is indicative of the way they treat you . you literally feel like you’re staying with family in the most beautiful surroundings. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough I will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time"
