The U.S. A great hotel. Staffs were very held full. Internet was great. At the begining air condition was not working. They fixed the problem. Breakfast was great. Free minibar was great after long day. Their bar service was good as welll.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. Shuttle service of this hotel is ver helpful and needed since hotel is little farther from attractions.
Hotel very good also staff very attentive. The breakfast up in the roof top restaurant was excellent and we only used the restaurant once during our three night stay but again the staff and food was excellent. The Vatican is about a 30 minute walk away downhill but after all the queuing and walking a short taxi ride back is recommended. The Hotel has all the amenities for a short break or an extended stay, with a lovely pool area to relax by on the days not sightseeing. Visiting the other notable attractions will mean using public transport or taxis which are all reasonably priced. Pre booking is not required as there are local ticket sellers at all of the sights. Rome is a great place to visit and staying at a hotel in this type of location offers the best of both worlds. We only travelled as a couple but the Hotel appeared to cope with all types of travellers equally well. The Hotel will also arrange transfers from and to the airport using there own limousine service which was available but we did not use
Nice hotel with very helpful staff. We chose Villa Rosa because it was close to relatives and close to bus and tram to go to the center of Rome for all shopping and sightseeing. Beds were a little hard but we got used to them. The first night our room was located over a busy street. They were able to change our room the next night and it was very quiet.
The free breakfast was fantastic, with fresh pastry, bread, cereal, yogurt, meats and cheeses and excellent coffee!
We had stayed here once before and will stay there when we go again!
Being close to our Aunt who was celebrating her 100th birthday, made our stay even better.

The Hotel Villa Rosa is well located near the characteristic area of Trastevere, easily reach by any point of Rome and just a …More
Hotel was clean but in need of refurb. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Location was too far out to walk to main attractions but under 10 min walk to Tram Station. For the price paid it was reasonable.
Affordable way to experience Rome without the huge expense of staying directly in the city centre. However these apartments are a short walk from one of the main roads into Rome, which has a healthy flow of buses and trams into the city centre. We also visited the Hydromania water park which is on the outskirts of Rome which was also easily achieved via the nearby bus route. There's also a laundry within throwing distance of the apartment which we were grateful for, and also within easy walking distance you can find a choice of restaurants & shops..
The apartment is quite simple and basic, which served our purposes fine, after all we didn't visit Rome to spend all day sat a round in the apartment. The manageress was ever so helpful recommending the best places to see and visit, which ensured we got the most out of our short stay.
We enjoyed this hotel, although a little off the beaten track for tourists there was a feeling of genuineness in the surroundings.
Public transport was a walk away and required changes, but the buses and trams were easy to negotiate and stopped close to major tourist attractions.
The Monteverde area of Rome leads up from the ancient Trastevere neighborhood to the beautiful top of the Gianicolo hill, which offers a breathtaking view of the city. Villa Doria Pamphili, one of the largest public parks in Rome, is on the Monteverde hill and includes the beautiful 17th-century villa and gardens historically owned by the Pamphili family.
