"Next time we visit Edinburgh, this is where we will stay. Granted: this is a Hostel, not a hotel. But... it's truly great. My grandson and I shared a private room for two. the cleanliness and security of the place are excellent. Staff are friendly. The location is unbeatable. The little square that it is on directly is very nice, with a great bar / restaurant right across the street. And it is just a few hundred meters from the Royal Mile and very convenient to the Waverly rail station so it is...

"Amazing location! Shops, restaurants and attractions are within the block. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. I had a private room with shared bathroom and the room was a decent size and the bathroom was very clean. The shared kitchen was modern, clean, and had utensils, dishes, and cookware, as well as a fridge to store food. "

"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. Front desk was very helpful. "

"Great location. Walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Plenty of space in property for eleven adults. Nice fresh beds in bright rooms. Property a little shabby in parts. Excellent communications with host who was very helpful. Parking in Edinburgh generally a bit of a challenge but doable."
