Perfect cottage
What a little gem of a cottage! The cottage is beautifully done out, really well equipped, cosy and in a really peaceful location. We absolutely loved the hot tub, and we're treated to an amazing sunset as we sat in it one evening, and we spent lots of time in the fab outside area with wood burner and pizza grill... Despite the cold autumn evenings! Nigel and Liz have really thought of everything, multiple blankets to keep you warm while you sit around the fire and a ready supply of firewood. Nigel even topped the wood burner up for us during the day when we were out, all ready for another round of pizza when we got back from a long and wet day out!!

Really lovely cottage with thoughtful and generous hosts.
We had a lovely stay at the cottage in Mellis. Nigel and Isabel were perfect hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed and recommended a number of lovely things to do in the area. The property was cleaned spotlessly before we arrived and was well appointed for our stay. We would definitely love to stay again and will recommend the property to all of our friends and family.

Excellent relaxing holiday
We had an excellent stay and it was all the more special to de-stress from covid overload and GCSE exams for my daughter. This is an excellent cottage where absolutely everything has been considered. Within 5 minutes of arriving, we were blown away by the little touches that made us smile. All the equipment is top class with no expense spared, which is refreshing for a rental property. The highlight is the hot tub and we all enjoyed time relaxing in it. You are absolutely in the middle of nowhere, overlooking fields on either side, which is exactly what we all needed. The owners really made this special and made us want to visit again. Highly recommend.

This property is amazing in so many ways and is one of the best places we have stayed. The communication with hosts before hand and during our stay was so helpful, prompt and friendly. We loved the hot tub and it's private location, the outdoor fire was so good even though it was a cold night. Thanks for lighting it for us! For us it was a great place to come for some very comfortable rest and relaxation and provided us with everything we needed. Thanks to Nigel and Louise

A slice of something nice
The whole group (2 couples) really enjoyed our stay and was perfect. With some really nice touches and can appreciate the thought that went into designing this place (I.E Wetroom style shower near hottub). Everything we need a short drive away, good local pub options and would really recommend Banham Zoo for a decent afternoon out. really nice hosts too! Nigel was very helpful and even dropped by to make sure the hottub was clean and levels correct etc which we thought was a nice touch too.
