"I broke down last night and booked this hotel.... Very late arrival after midnight but staff were fantastic, quick check in... Into room and sleep. Explained circumstances in the morning about what's happened and as in on medication they offered me something to eat and drink so i could take my medication. Great staff and very friendly, property is very nice, room was huge, very comfortable bed and shower excellent. Great stay and keep up the good work. "

"Great experience with the hotel, we stayed 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was very peaceful, my only recommendation to others would be to have a larger bed. We are used to king size so a double was a little small "

"Excellent stay at the village hotel service was great although the kettles in the room were full of grime and white stuff in and around the poor spout. Desperately in need of new ones. Bathroom was acceptable but things were loose. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay "

"Had a really enjoyable overnight stay with my elderly father. The room was excellent spotlessly clean the beds were comfy. The best part of our stay was the breakfast- so much variety, and choice. All the staff from check in to the breakfast were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend, and look forward to staying again!"
