"The hotel has been photographed well, but in reality the hotel has become a bit dated and worn around the edges. The jacuzzi was not working and the pool temperature was cold. Tiles missing in the steam room, and left broken on the floor. The ladies pool changing room showered were dirty with numerous large chunks of grit on the floor. I alerted the staff and though they apologised did not appear to leap into action to rectify the issue. The room I stayed in was missing any bathroom door hooks so my towel got soaked when the water leaked from the shower tray, onto a floor which has clearly been damaged from previous leaks with cracked grout. Bathroom also had dirty and mildly rusty towel radiator. Mattress was acceptable but had seen better days as the did the base of the bed which just looked battered. Food was acceptable but overpriced given the quality. The staff were polite and courteous and the views lovely, but overall I wouldn’t recommend to others. "

Amazing food in the restaurant and breakfast was also good The staff are really helpful and friendly Lovely garden outside The coffee Lodge is a nice cosy spot The room we stayed at was 217 and it was better than expected, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfy, the interior was so stunning. I would definitely stay here again "

"Within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants so perfect location with free parking. We stayed in a very comfortable suite lots of space to relax and lovely view over the garden. Very quiet at night and a good selection of food for breakfast hot and cold. Will definitely stay again. "
