2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.

The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I did, however, have one negative experience which was that I passed out in the spa sauna - the high tempature and my low blood pressure were not a good mix. The staff were friendly, with one lovely ginger boy telling us lots of stories about the hotel and its origins, and one tall waiter finding us a seat looking onto the arena despite those tables all being reserved (sorry that I forgot the actual names!)
