Luxurious finishings, tasteful decor and little touches such as heated towel rack and extra blankets/bedding/towels. Wonderful host! Colin went above and beyond to help us with dinner plans at The Clachan (est. 1734) - great pub in the nearby village (Drymen square with historic pubs and cafes is a short 5-10 minute walk away! Take a footpath that starts across the street from the estate of Knockinreoch, where the Badan is located). The place has everything needed for a really comfortable stay, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, oven, fridge, dishes, etc. Picturesque views from primary bedroom of sheep grazing in field. Sweet visits from their friendly dog and cat. Great selection of local literature: books, maps and pamphlets to learn about the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and surrounding area.
