"A comfortable, clean, well-presented barn-conversion. Set out and equipped well. Good location for local amenities and for exploring The Wirral and North Wales. The "welcome pack" was excellent and much appreciated!"

" A fabulous cottage in a quiet but also convenient location. Owners were so warm and helpful."

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "
