Amazing place. Warm welcoming, staff attentive to needs, beautiful place, beach front, amazing views, beautiful landscapes, ocean front, most of all we were very respected. Price was more than reasonable and the breakfast was delicious.

I had an amazing time at this resort during my yearly kitesurfing trip. The bungalow in which I stayed was clean and comfortable. The restaurant had a great view of the ocean and there was even an upper deck bar. The beach was easily accessible and there was a kite school on the premises. However, the best part of my experience was the staff. From the General Manager, Tony, to everyone else, they made me feel at home. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful place for years to come.

Had an amazing time at Ventana Bay Resort! Photos don’t do this hotel justice - the rooms, views and grounds are spectacular! You’re able to kiteboard right from the beach, which is one of the most expansive ones in the area. The casita was very comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a long stay. Enjoyed watching fish jump in the mornings while the waters were calm and kiting in the evening when the wind picked up. Nelly did an incredible job accommodating us and assisting with booking activities. Highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to La Ventana!

Weekend getaway at Ventana beach
We had a wonderful stay at La Ventana Bay Resort! It is secluded and romantic and the property is very well cared for. The service is wonderful too! We had breakfast and lunch at the resort and the food was delicious!

LOVE this place!
Incredible stay at an incredible resort! Nelly was super accommodating, the location was great, and the compound was quaint and unique. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, quiet and tranquil, on the beach. Be aware that due to the location, a rental car may be necessary if you plan day tours.

Really private, peaceful and well run property with very friendly and accommodating team. Thanks for waiting for my late arrival, Nelly! Great breakfast with waterfront view. Right on the beach ready for kiting, windsurfing, winging, etc.

Can’t wait to go back
This place feels like staying at a friend’s vacation home. They make every effort to ensure guests are happy. Clean accommodations, beautiful artwork and lighting, fresh cooked breakfast and lunch. Beach is full of sea life. Snorkel out about 50 meters from shore and see thousands of fish!

I don't even know where to start...I just loved the whole experience. I booked the trip less than a week before leaving so had limited options for places to stay so kind of fell into staying at VBR and am SO thankful that it worked out that way. EVERYTHING about the experience was just excellent but I have to say that the property manager, Toni, had a lot to do with it - he goes above and beyond to show you A-class hospitality. I went there to kite and VBR is right on the beach and highly geared towards this. They have equipment to rent and have things like snorkeling gear and paddle boards for low wind days. There are even a couple of instructors who operate out of the resort and have jet skis which makes for excellent lessons. Highly, highly recommend.

Tranquil, away from tourist hotspots
Our kind of place, away from all the tourist hot spots, it feels like you have the entire beach to yourself. Staff is awesome and the food is amazing. If you’re into kiteboarding or want to learn, this is the place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful resort .
This intimate resort totally exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for some rest and relaxation or trying out the various sports that are offered. The staff are extremely friendly but also mindful of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning and recommending it to our friends.

Private bungalow close to windswept beach
An hour's drive from La Paz. Very quiet private bungalows with a restaurant onsite. Note that all meals are over and above the room price; also on 2 of the 5 nights we were there the restaurant was closed in the evening and the menu offers no options. The food however is simple but good. The staff are very service oriented, particularly the restaurant staff. This resort caters mainly to people who come here to wind/kite surf (is that the expression?) The water is too cold for swimming and has lots of rocks. A great place for a quiet relaxing getaway, although you need to have your own transportation (1) to get there from La Paz and (2) to go into El Sargento for dinner on the nights the restaurant is closed.

Takes a bit of driving to get to but once there you its like your own villa by the sea. Great privacy but also opportunity to meet other kiteboarders and watersports enthusiast. Beautiful long beach, clear water.

the most beautifull beach,amazing view,the new bungallows are beautifull,we almost had the hotel to ourselves,its is located literally at the end of the world,has very limited amenities,the food has to be ordered well in advance,but the place is totally worth it,,a very special and romantic hotel

One of my favorite places to stay!!
Ventana Bay Resort is now one of my favorite places to stay. The staff is terrific, breakfasts are delicious, the location is pristine, quiet and so lovely. I wish we were there for longer and will stay here when we next return. I highly recommend VBR!!

Fin de semana en hotel de playa con super vista
Mi esposa y yo vimos el amanecer desde la comodidad de nuestra recamara, luego tuvimos una larga caminata por la playa apreciando la naturaleza. Nuestro principal objetivo fue tomar fotos de la exhibición de Kite, lo cual estuvo excelente.
