The hotel is beautifully themed with the amazing Hamburg zoo. The evening staff were great. A few minor improvements needed such as being able to find staff in the daytime but no problems that would dampen your stay.
I have stayed in many hotels. This was probably in the top 5% of all hotels I've been in. It was kept clean to a very high standard and the room comfort was much higher than I had expected for the price. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again if I am in Hamburg.
The hotel is located a short walk from all the best areas of town. A short walk takes you to the hub with all the restaurants and bars. A walk in the other direction takes you towards the parks and sights. And if you don't like walking and even shorter walk takes you to the Metro station.
The room and bathroom were very clean and modern. Plenty of space and very fresh without feeling cold.
The only downside was breakfast was not as good as that on offer a short walk into town but it was good enough. On my next visit, if I have time, I will wander into town for breakfast.
Lovely staff but they are a little chilled out, maybe that is what gives the hotel its relaxing atmosphere?
Beautiful room fairly close to the train. It was really a nice spacious room and very clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable. The only downside was the lack of WiFi in the room. There is a landline to plug into, however I didn't have that capability. I had to leave the comfortable room every time I wanted to use the internet. Fortunately, free WiFi is available at the fast food restaurants nearby.
