"Room was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and helpful. It would have been better if there was shampoo in the bathroom and a small fridge to store water. Apart from that I enjoyed my stay!"

"Great modern and well maintained hotel. Just mentioning in case the hotel staff read this. Only negative was the tray with kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc. was placed in a shelf without a power point. It was strange to have to lift the large tray and move it to the desk next to the power point. I relocated the hotel directory to a higher shelf."

"Hotel is in a Great location, right opposite the train station and ideally placed for all the shops and bars. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend staying here."

"All staff very helpful and friendly. Overall clean and tidy. Room spacious but a couple of issues. Only one plug socket next to the bed and only three in total. The other two were not in convenient locations. No shaver socket which was a major surprise! The hotel does have very limited parking which I guess you have to book. The Baltic car park next door is very expensive and by the hour. Gateshead Quays multi-storey (very new and clean) is a minute walk uphill from the hotel."

"Hotel as you would expect it is a holiday Inn however, the decor in the bedroom needs updating along with the bathroom. Back however, it was extremely comfy and large."
