Great location for getting out and about to see Durham. Lovely owners and everything there that you need including a lovely cake and milk and tea/coffee for a brew when you arrive! Decorated to a really high standard.

Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again.

Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We loved how welcoming our hosts were and how peaceful and quiet it was. A great place for family stay

Right on Pennine Way in lovely village. Ideally situated for sightseeing also with interesting places nearby.

Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the oven worked well. Lots of opportunities to go on walks directly from the property too. We like to stay in beautiful places and this ticked that box! The only suggestions we came away with were that the...

My stay was amazing, great local country walks and great views. Differently would recommend.

Lovely place, perfect for groups. Pool table was a hit. Only negative was the couches in the main room were a bit old and had the arm rest cushion had gone so it was just wood. Needs replacing. But that’s only minor.
