It is comfortably furnished and well equipped with an open plan kitchen/dining/living space and a separate bedroom and bathroom. There are pubs and restaurants in the town and car parking is available nearby at Sainsbury's. Stella replied quickly to my comments and had kindly left me some nice biscuits!Haltwhistle is 2 miles from Hadrian's Wall with its excellent walking possibilities and fascinating Roman forts, and is well served by public transport with both buses and a train station.
