I loved our experience! We had our own oasis in the casitas. The rooms were a quaint spacious home away from home. The only downside is that they have outdated televisions throughout the resort. But all three heated pools, lap pool, and yoga station definitely made up for it. They even had a 1 mile jog course on the resort. I cannot wait to go back!

"Golf n restaurant facilities available no microwav"
The entrance sign called it Inn not Resort n we thought we went to the wrong place. But, it's a resort with golf, 3 restaurant facilities. While there is fridge n a single cup coffee/tea machine, there is no kettle nor microwave, so somewhat inconvenient for those preferring other than the 4 units offered.
We loved it. Was rustic yet comfortable. Stayed in the smallest room so no microwave or tv like the other rooms. Which we did not need. This is where you want to go if you want to experience the desert....not a fancy hotel that you could stay anywhere else. Surrounding is landscaped desert oasis.... delicious breakfast....coffee/water available all day.,,cookies at 4pm. Clean and simple pool and jacquzzi. Lots of quiet... not for the noisy family or couple wanting activity. Perfect for a couple to relax and enjoy the beauty of the desert. Rooms decorated for desert, looks like adobe homes. Saw roadrunners and other birds..... We read, enjoyed our private patio. and the outside eating area with a fireplace. We will return.

The desert dominates East County. Here, wildflowers bloom in the spring at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. This isolated stretch of land is California’s largest state park. Nearby, soothing mineral waters welcome visitors at a pair of hot springs, one in Jacumba and one in Agua Caliente. Nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains, the historic town of Julian offers a glimpse of Gold Rush California.
