This is a hidden gem. Rooms were well appointed with a really comfortable bed, high quality linens and towels and the white stuff products in bathroom. Breakfast was superb. Staff really friendly and helpful. Location was idyllic.

This was a home from home. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. After a 3.5 day drive from Corfu to walk through the doors of a friendly Great British hostelry was simply the best experience. Spacious accommodation in the Flat, plenty of room to unwind with my two dogs who were a little wound up after the long drive. A good nights sleep and the ability to run off steam in the field opposite, we all left relaxed and chilled. Pub grub was fabulous too! As I couldn’t stay for breakfast...

The room was tidy and clean but a little tired in places , possibly due to a busy season. Breakfast was excellent , food in the bar was very good and prices were competitive . The ambience in the bar was good. The quiz was good fun. Excellent nights sleep . Overall very good

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Perfect for a couples weekend away! Excellent stay thank you all! So nice to sit on a terrace looking at the beach and sea, whilst eating a very good breakfast. Booked with our 12yo Labrador. Stairs were a tad steep but she was happy being carried up 😁 Staff are very helpful and the location is just stunning! We will be back

A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch.

Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...
