Great spot. Lovely clean, well maintained hotel with lovely grounds and right next to a river where you can take a long walk. Super accessible location and very quiet surroundings. Only slight downside was the breakfast which was very limited.

The grounds are vast and stunning at this time of year. Ideal if you have a pet. The decor was beautiful and the gastronomic restaurant was fabulous. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a great choice for breakfast.

In 40 years holidaying I can honestly say Hotel Diligence is one of the best that my wife Anne and I have stayed at. The furnishing are beautiful/comfortable bed/ lots of little Knick Knacks to make our stay even more enjoyable. and a very good breakfast. I whole heartedly recommend staying there

We had an overnight stay here on our way back to Calais. Electric car charging point available, although only 1 so we were lucky to get it! Slow charging so ideal as we left it overnight to be fully charged. Beautiful setting right on the Seine. We had a standard room which was perfectly good for 1 night: air con, big walk in shower, tea and coffee facilities (though take English tea bags if you like English tea!). We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the staff were lovely....

Absolutely perfect for an overnight stop on the way down to the Sud Ouest. Room was incredibly clean and the air conditioning was a welcome extra. We ate at the pizzeria which was 200m away from the hotel. Food was good and fairly good value. I immediately rebooked for the journey north in August.

Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception. Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier). Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at...

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Although a little of route it was a stop off on our way to La Rochelle. We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. We had the 3 bedroom accomadtion and it had everything we needed. It is dated, but all in all a good stopping point for us as this is always difficulty for a family of 5.

Staff always attentive and friendly. Great parking outside. Hotel is spotless. Stayed here before and can’t fault it. The food in restaurant is really good too. And your dog is welcome as you are even in the restaurant

Good situation near a lovely village on the Seine. Very nice room for three. Would have liked an arm chair but evrything else was fine.

Probably the world’s most sumptuous bed and breakfast, the chateau is beautifully restored and outfitted with an assortment of antiques and contemporary fittings. The owners are wonderfully welcoming and really went out of their way to make my short stay memorable

Heating was important on this trip as I was on my motorcycle and as ever it worked well. Reception staff lovely as ever. Only gripe was I was leaving at 7am and breakfast was not available and nobody was on reception so I had to leave my room key by the door. Overall excellent value for money

Very nice room overlooking the beautiful garden. Although it was a very hot night, with the windows open all around I got a cooling breeze from the garden. The area was quiet. Easy walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants and the market. Secure parking.

A gem of a place for a birthday overnight stay. Laurent and Bruno were exceptionally warm and welcoming and our son was delighted that his bedroom had the beautiful view of the Chateau Gaillard! Seizing the moment early Sunday morning to look at the respective views whilst reading, we knew we would like to return for longer. The best breakfast on Sunday morning made it hard to leave. Thank you!!
