Loved the Dorp’s quirkiness and overall atmosphere. The rooms and bed very comfortable and well equipped. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Truly a luxury experience with champagne welcome, three course breakfasts, real fires in the rooms and staff, at all levels, who were welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation - beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting which was enhanced by the service provided by the staff through the car being washed in the morning, fires being lit in your room in the evening to the outstanding food and willingness by the staff to make your holiday a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge.
This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. The team are AMAZING, Azaria and Milton, our ranger and tracker were unbelievable and so committed to help us track down what we wanted.
Kulani the waiter was an absolute delight. Not a single day did I ever see him not smiling.
The housekeeping team would make the rooms up three times a...

Arrived earlier than the official check in time to be met by the friendliest hotel reception we have ever experienced! The reception area itself was stunning, great views over the beach and a relaxing bar to watch the sunsets. Everywhere was spotless, very modern and comfortable. Our room (202) was great, with views of the mountains from one side of the balcony and the beach on the other. I could have sat on the balcony all day to be honest (the room came with a fridge stocked with beer and...

Lovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises.
10-15 min drive to Addo, not much in the local area.
Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch.

A truly magical stay, really brilliant dinner and all drinks included which makes it better value for money. Lovely staff. Only downside is the rooms are tired and the whole pool and bathrooms need maintenance. Also a wider breakfast choice perhaps it is a bit limited. Thanks to Kim for looking after us perfectly.

Beautiful setting and wonderful staff who could not have been more accommodating for our 9 month old baby.
We just wish we stayed longer than 2 nights!

We were fortunate to choose this game lodge and stayed for 4 nights in October.
Our guide and tracker were exceptional and were able to find the big 5 with good viewings. In particular on this occasion we wanted to find leopard as we had previously missed out on these solitary wily cats but we were blessed with two sightings - once when the leopardess stepped out in front of our vehicle at night and on a second occasion hen spotted up a tree with her kill.
we also made one long morning drive...

Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

We paid Expedia the full amount for our Deluxe Surcharge room on booking and were informed that our reservation was booked, that there there was no need to re-confirm and that our room was guaranteed for late arrival.
When we got to the hotel around 9 pm on Easter Monday, after a 9 hour car journey from Durban we were told that there were no rooms available for the first two nights; that we would be taken to a four star hotel elsewhere out of Rosebank for these two nights, and that we would...
