Second year in a row staying at Jan Luyken with my wife. We love it, over ten years coming to Amsterdam and we now know for sure where we are staying every time.

Lovely hotel in a superb position. We booked a deluxe room and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the river. We had a super size balcony. The room was just perfect and the bed and pillows made for a very relaxing and comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a fantastic size with all the amenities .. full size bath and walk-in shower .. double sinks etc and the towels were extra large. ALL the staff were so pleasant and cheerful and catered to our every need. Food and drinks were on the high...

Very convenient, 10 minute walk from one station, 5 min from another. 2 supermarkets & a pharmacy on the corner. Can leave your luggage before & after check in/out. Staff are amazing, lovely & helpful. Had a bit of
a surprise late one night when i started my period, one of the staff members must have given me some of her own products, a lifesaver!
Ive had such a lovely week here, just the place to come back and relax after a long day out and about!

This hotel was just perfect for our 3 night city break.
In a quiet area which is becoming the new up and coming place to be. Don't know about the night life there, we weren't interested. We went into the centre to socialise. Our 24 yr old daughter was happy to travel in & out on her own from here. Felt safe & secure.
Good sized room with comfy King bed and sofa bed for 3 of us. Spotlessly clean. Love the en-suite shower.
Complimentary bottled water on arrival.
Nice bar and lounge area. Quiet.

Staff were lovely and extra helpful. Place was clean and well appointed. Location was absolutely perfect. Not on the very busy roads but right in the heart of Amsterdam.

Really friendly, simple but clean and comfortable room. 2 suggestions: would have liked tea/coffee making stuff in the room and the room had only one bin in the bathroom

I thought this was a great boutique hotel. One of those gems you find by accident when visiting city centres across Europe.
Friendly and helpful staff made my stay a real pleasure.
I recommend this hotel for someone looking for a quieter stay.

Yet another great stay at Citizen M. The staff are lovely and always helpful - at any time. Unfortunately I fell ill while on holiday and they were kind enough to allow me to stay in the room a little later to rest up before the journey home. Great coffee and snacks, also very near the tram and train line so convenient to get around but quiet enough to get a good night sleep! Thansk again!

City hub is a great place to stay if you want a more unique stay. The rooms are very comfortable and high tech. You can change the lighting into a zillion colours with the city hub app, and play music through the rooms speakers using Bluetooth. The showers are really nice. You get a special kimono to use as well as towels and toiletries (shower gel). They even give you a free wifi hotspot to take round the city with you... which was incredibly useful and thoughtful. 10/10 would stay here again.

I stayed in the Eye Hotel in late October / early November 2017, while visiting Utrecht for a concert at the Tivoli Vredenburg.
The hotel is conveniently situated about 10 to 15 minutes walk from Utrecht Centraal railway station (and about 10 minutes from the Tivoli Vredenburg venue). This part of the city has a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops, and yet is not overly busy - so not excessively noisy. Wijde Begijnestraat itself is quite quiet except for morning and evening rush hour...
