When to Book a Flight to Maastricht Airport
Each season in Maastricht has its charm. Winters are cold but great for getting into the Christmas spirit with a cup of hot chocolate in one of the cosy pubs. Summers, on the other hand, are the busiest time of the year here, since July and August are the months of summer break for most citizens. Don’t let that spoil the fun, though. It is a great time of the year to sit in one of the parks and enjoy the sun. Autumn and spring are always a good time to go, since they are a happy medium between the hot and cold seasons. Just prepare yourself for the weather by bringing layers of clothing when visiting Maastricht and you will be fine!
Transportation and Parking
You can travel from and to Maastricht Airport using a (rental) car or public transportation. Just take the train to Maastricht, Sittard or Beek-Elsloo and hop on one of the Veolia Bus Lines. At the airport, taxis are available if you prefer to continue your journey that way.
