"Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig, auch die Bauweise mit den kleinen Häuschen. Aber das war es dann. Der Bungalow war kalt(ca.16Grad C.) und feucht, die Betten erst nach 3 Tagen nicht mehr klamm. Die Elektroheizung reichte nicht aus,auf Anfrage erhielten wir dann eine 2. Heizung, dann wurde es besser.Der Frühstücksraum war ebenfalls kalt,nur mit 2 Pulli benutzbar. Es hatte keinen Kühlschrank im Bungalow. Der Ein-Ausgang der Analge war nur über ein grosses elktrisches Tor, Auto Zufahrt, möglch....

Nice resort hotel in the North West of Madeira, perfectly located for the natural pools. As an added bonus you get access to unlimited free day passes into the pools that require a paid ticket. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a friend call ahead (unknown to us) to tell them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture. We stayed at the Quinta do Sol for 7 nights, for our honeymoon. It is a lovely modern hotel, with plenty of lounge areas, both inside and outside the hotel. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, and there are lots of options to book day trips at the reception to explore the island. This hotel is a real gem. The view from the rooms and restaurant is amazing. We couldn't get enough of it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and work tremendously hard. We have stayed here several times before and enjoyed each time. Most times we have hired a car as the journey is all uphill from Funchal (about 20 minutes). We have actually walked downhill into Funchal (takes about 3 hours) and used the bus service for a different type of holiday. The building of an indoor swimming pool...

Arrived late off the ferry. The young lady iat reception was lovely. Hotel directly on the beach with a great beach restaurant and beach bar/restaurant . Brilliant location only a couple of minutes into the centre We walked a long way up the beach on the first day and passed two snack and beach bars. The sea and Beach are lovely and clean. Last day we asked if the room had someone in after us , I think it did but they said we could keep it until 3.30. All the staff were really pleasant...

The Quinta could do with a lick of paint and new carpets but if you are able to see beyond that this place has a great deal going for it. We didn't have a car for our week there and frankly didn't did one. The Quinta has a free minibus for trips into Funchal which we used twice and saved us a fortune on taxis. Being part of Charming Hotels we were able to be transported(free) and feed at some of the other hotels in the group and I would recommend this highly to anyone considering going. The...
