"Santa Maria Maior was just as described and in a perfect location. We were minutes from the cable car and many wonderful restaurants and bars. Patricia greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and some tips regarding the area. She was delightful. Olivier checked to ensure everything went smoothly and wished us a farewell. As Americans living in Portugal I would recommend this apartment."

"Unser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung war super. Sie war sauber und entsprach den Bildern. Die Naturpools sind fußläufig und auch der Norden Madeiras ist von dort aus mit dem Mietwagen super zu erkunden. Der ausgeschriebene freie Parkplatz ist derzeit eine Baustelle und man muss Glück haben mit Parkplätzen vor der Ferienwohnung, ansonsten ist aber 2 Minuten zu Fuß ein bezahlbarer 24-Stunden Parkplatz für die Natur Pools (6€/Tag) nebenan. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und sehr zu...

"Communication with Manuel was smooth and easy. The location is simply gorgeous. We had the Sherry apt which has a huge balcony with direct views to the Mountains. Location is great especially if you are hiking the higher summits. Pico de Arieiro is well worth getting up early for the Sun Rise. While were there, over 80% of the people were local. Food around is very good and asfffordable"

"Lovely atmosphere without any kids. The hotel was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. The deluxe room was worth it - lovely coffee from the coffee machine and a little bar/fridge & robes. The location was a short way uphill out of the town but in a nice area and not a long walk for anyone with reasonable fitness, There were plenty of buses. You could walk downhill to a bus stop and get off further uphill on the way back. There was also a hotel minibus into the town. We had a great stay! "
