"though I was only there for a night, Pedro was an absolute doll, was very attentive when I had arrived past the check-in time and super helpful and recommending a restaurant that was more local and extremely friendly. The location is perfect for the area where restaurants are right down the road and you are walkable to the promenade. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! "

"This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. "

"We came in late late late and were able to just zip over from the airport in a matter of minutes. There was parking super close by and it was so easy to get into the place even though it was around 12:30 a.m. It was a tiny room but it was the perfect size to just watch a little internet tv, fall asleep and wake up to the sun shining off the quaint streets and beautiful waterfront. The shower was great. There was a coffee machine and, even better, a coffee shop almost directly across the street....

"During mine stay in Madeira I had a little cange in plans and so I looked for a place to stay just 3 days before the reservations. Considering it was August the price was really good, the staff immediatly put me in a Whatsapp group where different person of the staff wrote everything I need to know about payments, times and mods of check-in and check-out and they where responsive at any time for any question."

"Ne vous fiez pas aux photos sur le site qui ne reflètent absolument la réalité. Etant donné le prix, on s'attend à une prestation bien supérieure... Chambre très petite, pas de climatisation, juste un pauvre ventilateur qui a du mal à donner un peu d'air frais... La télévision est ridiculement petite (pour nous, ce n'était pas un souci car on ne la regarde pas, en plus que des chaines portugaises...). La salle de bain ne comporte aucun meuble qui permettrait de poser les produits de toilette. Le...

"Located in prime location in Funchal. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, they accommodated our request of early breakfast on multiple occasions (with an advanced notice). The hotel was clean and housekeeping was responsive."
"Clean, beautiful hotel. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Ther breakfast buffet was quite big and they let me eat a little earlier due to an early am flight (or also offered a take away breakfast bag). A little walk from the main shops/ restaurant area of Funchal."
"We were staying in the new block, rooms 901 to 923. Lovely rooms very spacious and comfortable.
The pool looked lovely but we didn't use it, it was not quite warm enough at the end of March. But on a really hot day it looked fab.
The rooftop jacuzzi was lovely but with the top deck being overlooked by the building work going on next door it was not a very condusive space to spend too much time. Also the whole time we were there the bar on the rooftop was not open, I'm sure it would have been lovely with great views of the city.
The breakfasts were of a really good quality, an extensive buffet every day with a degree of variety.
I would go here again but would warn about the very extensive building works behind the hotel.
Location wise the hotel was good to get back to if you had a car but if walking you need to allow a good 20 minutes to get to Funchal and 30 minutes to get back."
"The breakfast selection was extensive and fresh, the staff were really friendly and did everything to accomodate guests and the property is new, combine that with the hotel staff cleaning the rooms so well, our rooms were spotless"
"Beautiful design hotel in a nice area. All facilities are great. We had a bottle of wine and water in our room as a lovely compliment.
There was also a nice empty fridge for our things and plenty of space. The lighting was bright enough and very stylish.
I loved that the area was relatively quiet despite the city location, so we could sleep with the balcony door open.
Some feedback for the management:
1. Having two bags of black tea instead of one and a couple of milk capsules in the tea/coffee station would make it even better.
2. Staff is a bit indifferent, and they made a mistake that left us with no parking spot despite confirming upon check in that we will have it. Kinda felt like they don’t care about guests much.
3. The hotel chain promotes its app but it’s super buggy, leads to another app for this specific hotel that doesn’t work too. When I tried to use it in the first evening, it said I was checked out 😅
But everything else is really nice."

"An exceptional hotel experience at the Savoy. This was our second visit and it just gets better and better. The spa treatments and restaurant selection on site are world class. I look forward to our third visit!"
