"We stayed at the Casa da Bordadeira over Christmas and had a fabulous time. The property was a cosy little place to spend time together, and a great base for hitting the Levada walks. Communication before arrival from the host was excellent and clear, and included everything we needed to know before arriving, during our stay and upon departure. "We had a brilliant week staying in this beautiful house. House was lovely and well eqipped, lovely views. We had a good small hire car, which you will need to access this house. The road to the property is very steep and narrow. This may could be a challenge for the faint hearted, however house owner will send you a detailed video near the time of your stay. Excellent communication with Carlis the owner, and we would stay there again."

"We spend here for two weeks and it was so wonderful. The place was exactly like in pictures and the view was almost more beautiful. It was nice and quiet and everyone was so helpful. We didn't have car, so needed good shoes for hiking, but the bus goes also quite near and quite often."

"Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. We also really enjoyed the thoughtful nightly gifts during turndown service. Spa also very nice. Would highly recommend. Close to the airport. Incredible experience. "
