"We had a lovely stay here (2 adults and a 4 year old). Plenty of space to relax and everything you could possibly need - even OS maps which is so useful! Beds were comfy and we pleased to have blackout curtains which so many holiday homes don't! Warm and cosy and very clean throughout. Fantastic view from the front bedroom (it would be good to switch the bed around to make the most of it while sipping a morning cuppa). Great location for exploring FoD. "Excellent accommodation. Steve and Annette are excellent hosts. My partner had booked this as a suprise for my 50th birthday and even arranged for a bottle of fizz to be chilled on arrival. The lodge is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Added bonus was the hot tub with an amazing view. Will definitely visit this calm and peaceful place again. "A lovely stay in daffodil cottage. Everything was comfortable and clean. Great location, especially if you like walking as the daffodil way is right on the doorstep. The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day with a glass of bubbly which we really enjoyed. The garden and views were great. Annette and Steve were such lovely hosts, very approachable but also left you to enjoy your time at the cottage. I would definitely recommend them to our friends and family."

"We had a really comfortable stay - 5 adults and 4 dogs (by special arrangement). Plenty of room for us all, and made even better by some mainly fine weather so we sat in the lovely garden much of the time. We dined at the Miners Arms and had a friendly welcome and great food. The house really is appointed nicely with no expense spared on the furnishings and fittings. The bed linen, carpets and towels were all luxurious. A few really tiny things let it down and may help others - lack of any oven...
