I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. "Located in a quiet residential street the B&B was previously a self contained extension to the owners bungalow and has its own front door, lounge/diner and two bedrooms as well as a bathroom. All rooms are well equipped clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is brought to you for you to eat in your kitchen dining area - very civilised and there is more than you can eat! Car parking is on the drive outside so no long trek from the car."

"I was disappointed that, although there seemed to be very few guests staying, we didn't have a sea view. Instead we had a view of the back of the driving range. Although the room was overall very clean, the dark carpet had obvious bleach spills and stains all over, and new carpets were definitely needed. One of our bath towels had obviously been used to wipe the floor. "

"The Norton House B&B was a great place. If you love old architecture you will be in your element. They have managed to bring the house into the 21st century without sacrificing the history of the building. Linda made us feel at home immediately, almost felt like we had known her for a long time.
