2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.

The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I did, however, have one negative experience which was that I passed out in the spa sauna - the high tempature and my low blood pressure were not a good mix. This bad experience was turned around though due to the amazing staff at the spa who made sure I was...

Our stay was amazing staff were friendly and always around to help, especially sherry she was our server for dinner on our first night, she was absolutely lovely and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces. fantastic family night. Great value for money. Food was out of this world!!! Only issue the room phone did not work and reception staff told us to contact reception from the room but all the phones in our building have been down for weeks. Pool and spa facilities great. Lovely overnight stay. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. Meal in stylish bar was delicious and great value for money paid. All staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Renovations were on going but this did not detract from our visit. Right in the centre of Glasgow close to rhe railway station. Discounted car parking close by. Great location for a short break, we will return.

Fantastic stay and made to feel very welcome. All the team made us both feel very welcome and even though the Spa was closed this did not impact a very relaxing and much needed break… all the receptionists, bar staff and manager went the extra mile to make the stay very enjoyable! Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Lots of restaurants and bars , great well appointed room and a common theme of professional staff in all areas of the hotel .
