Lovely boutique-style built run hotel. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. We only stayed a night to break a long journey prior to flying out of SJO the following afternoon, but there's plenty to do in the area and it would make a great base if staying a little longer. Very comfortable beds, it was one of our best nights sleep of our trip! We had dinner in Alajuela, about 10 mins drive away with loads of choice, and went back to the town to kill a couple of hours the next day...

We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. Best hotel experience I've had. Fantastic location and surroundings - full of wildlife. Saw howler monkeys, capuchins, parrots and toucans everyday. And even a sloth from our balcony. The pools, rooms, and staff were brilliant. There is also a free shuttle bus to Manuel Antonio beach / national park throughout the day.

We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in a Chato Suite and overall had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with views of Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear). The resort feels peaceful and spacious, which adds to its relaxed atmosphere, and it’s only a 5-minute Uber ride into town, which was inexpensive, safe, and reliable. Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

This Hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful, room was soacious and comfortable, and the bird life in the grounds amazing.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived early for check in but they were very accommodating and allowed us to check which was super helpful. Michelle, Stephanie & Deijan were the front desk staff and they were all great. All the staff were. The hotel has access directly onto the beach, secure parking and a lovely little pool. Beds were comfortable and rooms had everything you might need.

Helpful friendly staff, good food, clean and well equipped rooms and superb gardens with a host of birds. Can't fault it.

Very clean, located close to airport and city mall is walking distance with food options. Cozy rooms, adequate parking if you rented a car. Helpful staff.
